Blogging has almost become a thing of the past for me. Ah, no time to idly let my fingers wander over the keys, no time to stalk-*ahem*-keep up with others. Mostly that is because there is really nothing exciting going on around here. And my feelings are usually in a tumult (no, not over boys) or just clopping along like an old mare. I don't share the tumulty ones and the old nag ones are just...well, you get the picture. And don't laugh at my word-pictures.
Conference was great, a good time had by all.
And of course...USC WON THE ROSE BOWL!!!!!!! Ahem. Thanks, Caleb for supporting the team you know you should be supporting all the time.
I've been having to act like a mother lately because my mom got called for jury duty last week. School, food, basketball, babysitting!! All of those without a mother! Just kidding. She's only been gone two days total.
This past weekend we went to the desert and stayed with our friend Rachel. We spent the night Sat night and on Sun morning broke the (frozen) pipes so we didn't have water. On Sat night we had chili and custard and crazy cake and played Mexican Train with Charles and Tom. Then on Sun we went to Jim and Jan's modular (don't you dare call it a trailer) and had meeting and lunch. Bryce and Barb, Bryce's parents, Erwin, and Doreen were out also. Gwen, JoEllen, and I were the youngest ones there. The age gap was from 17 to about 45. It was still lots of fun. Good food, better stories, and loud laughs.
Speaking of mothering, I have to teach my 4-year-old class all by myself tomorrow so I'd better get to bed.

I'm not sure why that sentence to Caleb turned out so huge. I can't fix it!!!! AAAUUUGGHHH!!! Oh the helplessness!
I support the PAC 10 Don't get too excited. I also will support Texas over PAC 10 teams but they didn't do that well this year. You don't need to yell at me though ;)
WAit a second... You didn't have to do the teaching all by yourself... I seemed to have arrived fortunately for you. (But maybe I was motivated by secret revenge to infect some little child with my sniffly nose instead of the usual vice-versa)
"Blogging has almost become a thing of the past for me."
Almost?? Seems like it has entered the realm of "has become."
